Use your imagination as the key to unlock this door. Beyond the door is another dimension: a dimension of sound, of sight, and of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into ...
The 2009 Cornhusker Council Haunted Woods program October 29 - 31 is "Twilight Woods". The theme was inspired by the 'Twilight Zone' tv series. The Outdoor Education Center (OEC), 600 S. 120th, again provides the setting for the event. Two different adventures await you. The Scare Trail is where you will walk through a twisted trail of suspense, surprise, intrigue, and a little fright here and there. The Twilight Theatre is an area where you sit and enjoy a "surprising" show.
Operating hours are 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. each night. The adventures will begin serval times each hour and last approximately 30 minutes. Admission prices are $10.00 for the Scare Trail, $5.00 for the Twilight Theatre, or $13.00 for both adventures. Click here to print a flyer for another $1.00 discount on the combined adventures. Parking is available in the lot South of the OEC off of S. 120th or at the ball field in Walton with free shuttle service to and from the adventure entrance. Maps to the adventure at the OEC are available here or via a Google Map.
